Tokyo Tables Alhambra Grand Opening (12/08/2016)

Tokyo Table Alhambra is a superb combination of traditional Japanese cuisine combined with American comfort food. From the exterior, Tokyo Tables looks very modern and artistic in the architecture design that seems to symbolize the premiere of its location, the city of Alhambra. At first glance of the interior, guests are welcomed by both the hosts and the atmosphere, which invokes a feeling of being at home with family.

Upon entering the dining area, the hostess greeted all the guests and welcomed them to try their complimentary food and beverage of choice, which included sample size portions of their wagyu beef, chicken karaage, cooked salmon on toast, as well as red and white wine.

At the VIP area, guests were presented with a menu of 7 dishes that reveals the upcoming goodness.
In particular, the sushi pizza really stood out. Sushi pizza was presented on a wooden pan beautifully. It appears that the base is a slightly crispy yet chewy fried rice patty and is topped with a layer of sliced jalapeno pepper, a layer of sliced salmon, tuna or crab meat, a drizzle of blended mayonnaise and wasabi powder.

Once the friendly waiter brought over the giant brick toast coated with honey and vanilla ice cream swirled on top, I knew instantly that I'd make room for that.

In essence, guests that dine at Tokyo Tables Alhambra feels like home, while being served with excellent customer service and fine dining from a menu selection of over 140 items. 10/10 would recommend!
