Tech Munch at Ruby Princess Cruise

I was invited to take part in the Curtis Stone/Princess Cruises storytelling workshop aboard the Princess Cruise. Here's what I got out of this enriching experience.

Boarding in San Pedro Port was convenient as organizers had panels and volunteers to direct fellow influencers on where to go. Once aboard, we were all invited for quick bites at the lounge for socializing before moving to the main attraction.

Once everyone gathered, the organizers welcomed us to SHARE, a fine dining restaurant onboard created by Chef Curtis Stone. We were told that there will be a special six-course served and plenty of opportunities to meet the Chef and a special guest to lead hands-on food photography and Instagram workshop.

Ashley Rodriguez (Owner of Not Without Salt) showed us a few tricks throughout each course and walked us through what she likes about the color, texture, and the angle to take candid shots of the delicious food.

I had dishes like garlic-dusted Hungarian salami and spicy sopressata with pickled onions and Castelvetrano olives.  One of my favorite appetizer was the lemon poached prawns paired with a turnip cream, crispy brioche and finished with raw radishes. Next, we had the ricotta cavatelli highlighting roasted sunchokes, pickled beets and brussels sprouts leaves.

We took breaks to discuss the importance of natural lighting and how to use photo editing to enhance the colors on dishes like steelhead trout, a cold water trout flaking next to buttered asparagus, lying in a white wine beurre blanc.

I was amazed by the lamb loin paired with harissa scented couscous coated in spiced almonds.

For dessert, we had lime yogurt and citron tart, a classical tart shell highlighting freshly sliced raspberries and an Italian Meringue.

I feel blessed to have learned and dined with Chef Curtis Stone and Ashley Rodriguez. Thank you, Tech Munch for putting this together!

Overall, I had a wonderful time attending the Tech Munch at Ruby Princess Cruise.
